Hand jestures in a NFZ

it would seem to me the DJI would at least let you use hand jestures in a NFZ so people could use the spark in your back yard that would be part of your software.
It would be no worse than flying a kite in your back yard.

I totally agree! Are you getting a NFZ POPUP? I’ve never gotten one yet. And the Spark won’t “Take Off”? Is that what’s happening?

Only if the kite has props, motors, no string, and could fly off by itself.

While I agree, the law is the law and DJI is basically limiting their liability. Until the day the Feds put some common sense into some of regs, this is the world we live in.
