IMU Calibration will not go past 2

Hi
Have had my spark for a week and tried to do a IMU Calibration (after all updates have been done)

press start position 1 in a few seconds rotate to position 2 and it just sits there with lights blinking. switched off after about two minuets. should I have left it longer?

Mine took three tries to get the job done the first time. I tried the calibration outside on the porch railing the first two times and the one that worked was indoors on a table. One of those things that make me go hmmm.

sometimes the RC needs to be at least 2m away from the drone..
