when i got my spark the guy gave me this filter, he didn’t say much just that it was a filter, would u guys leave it on constantly or use it for certain ocasions?

A polarising filter will make colors "richer" and
help to eliminate reflexion like on water, glass, etc
under certain light condition and your angle of view
versus those reflective surface.
Try it, do some pics with and without.
