My opinion about fly aways

If you want high precision and near 100 availability there is now way around redundancy, intelligent sensor configurations, a sophisticated degradation concept and lots of computing power. Just a teaser: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1270963815002758

But I am sure you won’t be able to package this in a 10oz $400 platform.
Good point.

In future, I hope multirotors will fly using fault tolerance, for every system.

For now, the only we have, are drones that can continue flying, if a prop or motor is lost mid flight.

The Offline Maps option is NOT available in the latest version of the iOS app (currently 4.3.12), at least when installed on an OG iPad Air with iOS 12.1.3 ... that's the only iOS device I own.

It IS available on the current Android version (also 4.3.12).

I doubt this will sway anyone's platform preference, though ;)

If you're responding to me (you quoted my post), I don't see how this video changes my answer. The option to download maps remains unavailable via the DJI GO 4 app for iOS. The workaround will no doubt be appreciated the iOS folks, though ... although I think this video is best appreciated with the audio muted :D

In Android:
