New DIY polarization filter

Man I thought I was on to something cool with this idea.

Magnetic ring and a metal ring with polarization screen stuck on it.

That way I could just pull the metal ring and filter on and off the magnet from the spark.

Unfortunately the magnet caused too much interference with the compass I was having to re calibrate all the time.

I might try the concept again with just magnetized metal rings. (Much lower power magnetic force).

I personally wouldn't use any type if magnet irregardless of the strength. IMO you're just inviting trouble with that concept. Especially on this unstable device (i.e. Spark).

Yeah I was thinking the same... I might try a stick on method next.
