HI had to ask you how did you go with the insurance and RC registration as a tourist ? I am asking because I live here expat and have done the required I million baht insurance and RC registration the third part has not come through the actual license from CAAT they have a reputation of taking forever . I applied on line but still waiting .We were unable to make it to Chaing Mai Thailand. So we decided to stay in Krabi for the remainder of our time and found a newly opened Elephant sanctuary

Thank you for sharing such a great adventure.....
I know the CAAT was forever. I ended up going to a local NTBC office in Bangkok to get it. was much faster. the insurance was easy but seemed a little sketchy.... more like a cash grab than insurance.HI had to ask you how did you go with the insurance and RC registration as a tourist ? I did the NTBC thing register the RC and have seen conflicting ideas not unusual for this part of the World . I am flying have insurance and registered my Radio Controller . Cannot do more . My first flight was an accident in the largest Apple store in IconSiam . Was having a problem with the wifi (got that all done now OTG cable ) anyway the spark took off in the shop . The genius must have activated take off by playing with the sticks . He managed to grab it getting a nick in the process . I immediately saw the need for insurance . Was a real show stopper so loud in the Store . LOLI know the CAAT was forever.
