Have fun buddy. You can venture out with no worries just in my humble opinion stay nearby (closer than 1k ft) when that battery gets to 25% or so. Talking from experience because I put my first Spark into the Gulf of Mexico because I kept cancelling the RTH low battery warnings.

The less your worry about fly aways the more you will enjoy your new drone. Plenty of YouTube videos and posts on this forum to prepare yourself.

The more you know the more confident you will be. Pilot error is by far the most common cause
