Hi folks,
Wanted to share some info I came across recently. Since we know that the Spark Remote Controller does not have a removable (read: user-serviceable) battery, the expectation is to send the entire remote controller over to DJI for them to replace the battery. That sounded like it was really expensive, but it looks like it's reasonable priced.
After chatting with DJI Support, here's what they advised:
- Free shipping (to DJI and return) for customers within the US
- Battery replacement (I think) is $65 as it's listed under remote controller service fees.
- No mention of battery costs.
- This is for out of warranty / DJI care / DJI care+ repair work
