Propeller won’t push in

After a crash that ripped propeller off, I cannot push a new one down far enough to twist / lock. Took top off motor, didn’t see any debris , put back together, same problem. Spark drone

Is some parts of the damaged propeller still inside the motor? By example one or two of the pins fixing the propeller to the motor?

Did you not try the wrong propeller type (CW / CCW)?
I know, it is obvious but if there is debris in the motor and not the wrong propeller type, then it would be the fixation in the motor that is damaged.

Maybe posting some pictures can help us to understand the situation.

Not trying to be funny, but are you putting the correct propeller onto the correct motor?

I am new to this. So, HaHa, I was putting wrong prop in mount. Learn something new everyday with this thing. Thank you guys for replying and helping me out. Gotta go fly now!
