Raw footage, keep it or delete it?

Just wondering on your thoughts,

After you have shot your day of activities, and you have a bunch of raw footage from your Spark, gopro etc. You edit it to a great movie for youtube.
What do you then do with your raw footage?

Do you delete it or keep it ? And why ?

If you have a lot of digital storage space, might as well keep it organized. You may have a bad edit on YouTube and have to go back and fix it.

The drawback is that if you don't keep up with keeping raw footage in order, you'll lose track of it.

Another one is storage failure. I have multiple hard drives that failed over the years with stuff that I'll never seen again. This was before "cloud" storage.

I save most all of it. I bought a dedicated portable drive and I keep all my media organized by device & date.
