a word to the wise . a few years ago i was flying my Yuneec Q500 4K , a new friend i met who is a professional photographer said , let me take a photo of your drone in flight . i said ok and went up about 125 to 150 ' . my drone is very steady .i had at least 14 to 16 sats . not knowing what my new friend was doing , looking at his phone and trying to locate my drone . well you know the rest , he clipped one of my blades and my drone fell out of the sky and crashed into too many pieces . one of my buddys helped me pick up the pieces , the air frame was destroyed the 4K camera was in pieces . as we turned around my new friend was driving off , my buddy said that was the fatest get away he had ever seen . this will never happen again , i will never fly close to another drone . i did repair my Yuneec Q500 4K and buy and put it in new air frame , flies just like it did before but the only thing is the 3 axis camera only has 2 axis now . lesson learned . photos are after crash and after rebuilding . there was a lot of unsoldering and resoldering . i would not want to try this with a spark .
