Spark - a good choice?

Yes, wait for homepoint to be recorded.
However, if it takes an unreasonable amount of time to record homepoint, You should open a ticket and send for service.
My 1st Spark would not lock a home point even during a 400' max flight time of 10:00 min.
Sent it in under direction and got a new one in a week.

Sorry, I misspoke.
Mine was 2 weeks non-peak time.
1 week to get there and looked at, 1 week to get back.

It was a good thing too because while in service, my wife said " you know, you have everything backed up with spare parts for your home made drones. You need a spare Spark" and sent me a QVC Home Shopping link for the $499 package.
Not a great deal but at $100/ mo (for 6 months with final payment of $50 & half way through now)...that can be had on my budget.

I went one step further and said " so like your shoes 'If the shoe fits, buy one in every color' I can do the same for the Sparks, right?"

That didn't go over well
