Spark discontinued?

and 25 to 30 minutes of fly time.

Here we are limited by the battery technology available as we have been for the last 15 years. To get that sort of flight time you would need a 4 cell LiPo and something of the Sparks size just couldn't lift it. Even the Air only manages 3 cells from memory and has a real world time of about 16 to 18 minutes. You need to go to an aircraft the size of the Mavic 2 to lift a battery that big along with the camera payload and all the electronics and get anything close to 25 to 30 minutes. It might be possible in a consumer R.P.A. in two to five years but not yet. There are a few new battery technologies being tested that have a better power density than LiPo but none of them are ready for mass consumer production at this point.

JI has a descrete product launch on April 19th or 29th, can't quite recall which dayspeculation of Spark 2... But it could be anything

LOL yes, on PhantomPilots they are speculating if there might be a reprieve for the Phantom line. As you say with DJI it could be anything. It might be an OSMO or something not aircraft related at all .... but we can hope ;)

I doubt it would be discrete if it were a Phantom 5...lol

DJI are like that before a product launch. They make apple look positively gushing. Anyway, we'll know on the 23rd ;)
