Spark Range

Germany, for aircrafts up to 250g it is allowed to fly them in FPV mode w/o a spotter. However, the Spark is 300g ...
Correct - the Spark is over the MTOM allowable so moot.
I'm still waiting for anyone to answer my question..........

Editor, you seem to be a reasonable person, so please play fair. I answered your question. For the record, it was:
Can you point me to any CE region country with UAV laws in place that allow BVLOS operation without an OSC from that countries Civil Aviation Authority (which would not be granted on a Spark airframe due to lack of redundancy?)
Your question wasn't Spark-specific.

Moreover, flying a 300g drone in a mode allowed for 250g drones is like driving 65mph in a 55mph zone (*). No big deal. Assume this being a car forum and you'll see how unconnected your reaction may appear to some of us.

__
(*) Actually, driving 65mph is much much worse. First, energy increases with the square of speed, second, a car kills a person, a Spark doesn't (**), and we have many deads in traffic every year.

(**) I computed the energy of a Spark free falling out of sky from very high. It is like ruber bullets shot by police into a crowd.

Sorry for hijacking the thread but my spark loses connection really fast. Yesterday in Lake Como I lost connection at 150m of total distance in direct sight. Using rc controller with a Samsung S6 connected by Wi-Fi but with everything else in airplane mode.
