Super noob question about RC

since I got my Spark I use my RC with antennas in a way they are at right angle with th RC surface (L shape), is it the right positioning?

It's not the angle between the RC and the antenna that matters. It's the position of the drone relative to the flat surface of the antennas that is the key to best reception.
