time it takes for spark app to connect ready for flying

Does anyone else have trouble connecting the dji go4 app when spark and rc are turned on
im constantly refreshing the app so im ready to fly.
using ipad mini 4 with rc

I fly with a mini4 and I remind myself to close all of the running programs in the background.
Press the home button twice and clear the windows.

Sometimes I may try to connect with an old window running and have to refresh the app with a new flight if I haven't flown for a while, but not each flight.

Cheers ive also heard that flying with do not disturb on helps as-well?
