Viewing photos and videos w/o having Spark and iPhone linked.

Having trouble viewing photos and videos stored on the sd card. Can do it when everything is paired up but when I try the download arrow far left I get constant communication error msgs. None of the photos/videos show up in my phone. Nothing I've found in any of the user guides. What am I doing wrong?

Can do it when everything is paired up

Everything will need to be paired up in order to copy photos/videos from your Spark to your mobile device. If you don't want to do that, you can also remove the memory card from your Spark and copy the photos/videos to your computer via a memory card reader (like this one).

Shortly after clicking the down arrow and the file starts to download it stops, msg saz 'communication error, download failed'. Never have had even one successful download of a video. Everything is paired as it was during the flight minutes before. I guess I'll just have to always pull the card and have my laptop with me. Even photos don't automatically download to my iPhone7+.
