Hi,

I had a "GPS lost, going in ATTI mode" and then a "aircraft disconnected" ... (Remote controller with android phone with wifi)
luckily after 20 seconds I could perform a "RTH" after 20 seconds ....

But what are things that happen when my remote (or your phone ) does not connect for a longer time.... ?
  • It drifts with the wind till there is GPS again
  • It stays at that position until it gets a connection
  • it RTH when battery is getting low.
Is this correct ?
I would love to see the option a RTH before low battery, for example more than 30 seconds lost ... start RTH, so if it has some buffer in case another "GPS lost" interferes for a moment.

I'm also curious what the disconnect rules actually are, because the one time it happened to me, airdata.com says that after 13.9 seconds of downlink data connection lost, it tried to reconnect wifi and then went into auto-landing. I was 41 feet away from the home point, so it just started to land. It shortly reconnected and I cancelled the auto-landing sequence and finished my flight.
