Wifi not seen

Hello pilots, my spark cannot connect to my iphone wifi alone.i have to turn on the controller and then the phone wifi sees spark.what if i want to fly it just with my phone.any help?

I tried all that but still not able to detect spark wifi unless i turn on the controller

I don't recall, but it is in the instructions, that you need to press and hold the power button until a number of beeps are ehard. The instructions will tell you how many.

I had the same after not using the drone for 3 weeks tried everything now dji have asked me to send drone and combo controller back to Holland for repair ....hopefully a easy fix under warrenty
