Killer diy landing pad !

Looks like a Pokémon ball.

Or whatever it's called. I'm not a follower.

I like the refurbished products that serve a new purpose.
Good job.

Here's a picture of my Bucket of Fun I made to keep my Spark dry and safe (last minute choice to go boating).

Plus it makes a good seat for the pilot as well.

I thought z colors and pattern would be good for the precision landing, seems to work.

My homemade pad - 1 garden cushion, minus sponge filling.
1 sack gel cat litter, for the inside of the cushion - this helps provide a flat surface if none is available.
1 Mouse pad with appropriate markings.
And a bit of glue!

now remember , when landing be aware of the amount of downward wind force created when landing close to the edge if it should lift the landing pad up and hit your blades or gimbal it will damage or toss your spark around like a rag doll .i have a Yuneec Q 500 4K drone and i can only take off from my pad if i try to land it will lift the landing pad ( lost a set of props 13" ) . as a result i land away from the pad .i know the spark dose not have the motor or prop size of larger a drone . just be aware of a light pad and what will happen .
fly safe

That’s why I think this pad is killer.
It’s 1/4” thick rubber, it’s really heavy and fairly stiff.
I doubt a big octo could lift it.

One of my flying buddies pretty much destroyed his MP with an excersize pad.

I bought a collapsible pad a couple of years ago for my 3DR Solo, I learned that my first landing, cost me 3 props. It immediately found the dumpster. :)
