My Spark arrived yesterday and to my surprise it is a US version. I can tell because of the weird plug...

I'm currently living in Dubai and heading home to Europe next month. I'm not able to test the drone yet for two reasons, 1. I live on the flight path for the main airport, 2. You need a licence to fly android here.

In my app I can see that the altitude limit is at 500m. My question is, will the Spark work off the FCC limits or, when I move back to Europe will it change to local distance limitations?

I'm not asking for any solutions or fixes, just want to know if the limits are set by the hardware/firmware or by the software....

It’s based on gps location. When you come back to Europe it will switch to CE mode. If you took it to the states, it’d go into fcc mode.

The same unit ships worldwide. Only differences are which AC cord is included.
