Well, I have been flying since January with my iPad mini 4. Never had a issue of lagging or disconnect until last month. So I decided to connect cell phone (iPhone 8), and WOW. I had no lagging or disconnect until I was out 1400 ft. Usually it was disconnecting around 500 ft lately. I tested with and without OTG cable, same results.
Why was it better with the iPhone? I don’t like viewing a smaller screen.
