New Spark Activation Problem

Howdy Folks,
First the quick backstory:
I owned a Spark for over a year. LOVED IT!
Bought a Mavic Pro Platinum,
LOVE IT!!!
I sold my Spark, ( Big Dummy!) and really missed it.
So I bought a Brand New Spark, Fly More Combo, from an authorized DJI Dealer. When I went to activate it today, I got it all connected to my iPad that is strictly for my drones.
Let it perform updates, and it tells me “Cannot Take Off”, click on that, then “Aircraft is locked”.
Checked certification screen,
Nothing for App or Aircraft.
I went through and activated it when I started, but now I can’t figure out what to do.....
Any help or ideas would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
It kind of sucks to be 65 and confused!!!!

Sorry, I’m back!
I can’t get any of the codes to scan on my phone, or iPad. Is there another way to get her activated?
( I’m hoping this is my problem!)

Type the numbers in, the scan never works.

I did that, and now that I think about it, it said it was activated.
When I bring it up on the DJI go4 App, it tells me I have 48 hours to purchase DJI Refresh, so to me, it’s activated, but something else is locking it out....
I’m by NO MEANS a computer guru!
I’m just an Old Guy, learning as I go!

Which version of DJI GO are you using?

DJIGO4, it updated when I connected the new Spark, but when I just looked, it didn’t give me the revision.
I flew my old Spark on it, and currently fly my Mavic Platinum with no issues.

Did you verify that you have the current version of DJI GO 4 installed?

I hate to sound stupid, but how would I do that?

Open the "App Store" on your iPad and see if an update is available for DJI GO 4 in the "Updates" section. You might have to tap and drag down from the top of the screen to get the App Store to check for new updates.

Howdy again!
I checked the DJIGO4 app. I have the current updates loaded.
Everything on the Spark turns on and connects as it should.
When I click on “GO FLY”, I get the warning
“AIRCRAFT CANNOT TAKEOFF “
When I click on that to see why, it says:
AIRCRAFT IS LOCKED...when I click on that nothing happens as to an explanation why.
When I go to “UNLOCKING LICENSE LIST”
There is no certificate for either
“APP” or “AIRCRAFT “
I’m REALLY CONFUSED!!!
My Mavic Platinum still connects perfectly.
Anybody have any ideas?
By the way, when I connect to the Spark it tells me that I still have time left to buy
DJI REFRESH.....

Try connecting your Spark to the DJI Assistant 2 application and see if there is a prompt to update the Fly Safe database. Choose to update if you see the prompt.

If needed, you can download the DJI Assistant 2 installer from the Spark downloads page.

Howdy!
It appears that it successfully activated, and I have hooked up through Assistant.
I spent about 45 minutes “chatting” with someone at DJI TECH SUPPORT. He had me do a multitude of Tests and attempts.
He took my serial number and checked it out. Everything was correct and I’m not in a No Fly Zone. He told me to return it, or send it in for them to check out under warranty. He said it would be 2-3 weeks.
My Mavic works Great, so I decided to send The Spark in for repair....
I’m guessing it’s something that I messed up, but We shall see.

UPDATE!!!
Sent “Skeeter” in to DJI. They said they found nothing wrong. It’s on its way back, and should arrive tomorrow. We shall see if it works...
When dealing with DJI, you MUST EXERCISE PATIENCE!!!!
I got several emails along the way, and I felt they did a good job, albeit took 3 weeks...but I understand....
I will let you know if it works!
As for today, I’m off to fly my Mavic Platinum....
