No Audible Battery Warning IOS11.3

Both my iPhone 7+ and iPad 5 don't give an audible warning when the Spark battery goes below 30%. I get the red flashing on the screen, and all other warnings (take off, max height, etc work). I've tried using a Samsung S6 and it works fine. All latest firmware updates are done. Any suggestions?

I fly with a mini4 and I don't think I have ever heard a low battery warning.

I've had an audio warning for "Low battery / RTH in progress", but not the low level.

Keeps me on my toes to glance at ALL of the telemetry on the screen often and not cut my flight shorter than I expected.
