most common issue with range is BT, make sure to disable it. 2nd is orientation of the antennas. make sure the flats are always pointing at the craft and Never have the tips pointed towards the craft.

Hi blade strike absolutely true, I wear a fitbit device, (not that I am fit by the way:) and although I had turned BT off on the phone it seems the fitbit keeps looking for something to connect to, consequently giving me connection problems, took it off and hey presto perfect picture.
So yes definitely make sure no bluetooth devices nearby

I first thought that after update that my OTG was also not working.
What I found is that I have to wait almost 20 seconds after the controller is bound to Spark, before I connect the USB cable.

Then, after connecting to USB cable, I have to wait for the phone to connect to Spark for almost another 20 seconds.

On the last wait, for the Android, if I go into the USB mode, and choose "media", it connects immediately and launches DJI go 4.

Hi
My phone is a Samsung A5 2016. When I connect using Otg cable or directly with cqble male micro usb on both ends, the phone acts like I am plugin in and out constantly a charging cable. Thus making this ding ding sound 2 times per second endlessly. This is driving me crazy lol. Any idea??

Are you sure you plug the HOST side of your cable to the RC? OTG cable are not symmetric.

I had to buy a second otg for it to work and even then it only works with the white usb cable that came with spark

Use this cable http://a.co/9lWxmXh it's labeled host on the end that has to go into the RC it has 2 micro usb ends. I use it with these tips http://a.co/9Xu8FSl for usb-c to my nexus 6p. Works every time. The key is to enable usb debugging and then plug in the cable to the rc last after turning off wifi and connecting to phone.

Thanks for the tip !
I contacted Samsung and OTG is not supported on Samsung A5 2016 in France (?? weird enough). I will probably get myself an Amazon Fire HD 8 for which it seems the best low cost option for tablet with OTG :
DJI Go App on Amazon Kindle Fire!

Anyone. !

But when i use a cable then only 100ft
