Spark camera focal length - too long?

As I understand it, the Spark's camera is a 35mm equivalent focal length.

I'd prefer something like a 28mm for aerial perspective, (yes I know, hard luck).

Anyone else have an opinion?

I do wish the Spark didnt crop the image in video mode for the stabilization. Or at least has the option to turn it off. Wider would be nicer at times, but I guess that is why it has the pano modes.

I'd like it to be wider, but with that comes barreling, vignetting, and other small tweaks that make it not really worth it for the price point, I just fly it back farther than usual to solve my issues

Lucky it flies and we can move it back a little for better framing.
