Spark Controller Combo Misbehaving

Hi, bought a Controller Combo made the mistake of trying Spark with phone only, now Combo & Phone keeps disconnecting, almost had a fly away already.
Have factory reset Spark using Assistant had to put firmware on 0900 to achieve, upgraded to 1000. Rebound multiple times but still disconnects.
This is about 2 weeks old now.
Location Brisbane Southside.
Cheers for any suggestions.

I'd start by resetting controller and Spark back to factory default. Then go to phone wifi Settings and "Forget Network" for RC and AC. That gives you have a fresh start and can you can re-pair the all the components using YouTube videos and threads on this forum.

It's pretty common to have a few stumbles during the pairing process but once all connected it should be more reliable than what you described.

If disconnection is between RC and phone an OTG cable often helps. If none of the above work you can do the resets to factory default and also uninstall/reinstall DJI Go app

The key to troubleshooting this thing is to be methodical and not allow frustration to set in. Good luck!

Cheers for the reply rebound for the umpteenth time appears to be okay now, have to test more while out as doesn't seem to like all the Wi-Fi around @ home. But behaved itself the other day.
Here's hoping...

Don't try to fly near a bunch of houses or apartments. Wifi is Wifi and your DJI can only deal with so much interference before it becomes impossible to maintain a reliable connection. Move away from interference. Check you channel map under settings and see if you are in a danger zone.

Hi, thanks for all the suggestions, ended up phoning DJI Australia, as well as visiting a local D1Store. Both agreed Sparkie was sick as was continually boot looping & needed medical attention. Awaiting a label to send both controller & Spark in.
Hopefully covered under warranty.

Returned, Spark to DJI Melbourne, confirmed as a Core Board failure covered under warranty, appears to have been replaced with a new one by Online Serial No. decoder newer build. Original controller coming back so obviously no issues there. Woo hoo can’t wait.
