Spark RTH Obstacle avoidance

Hi guys, I heard that during RTH spark can sense obstacles only if it is less than 100m of distance, it is true? And if it is true, why spark shouldn't be able to sense obstacle in RTH further than 100 m?

When you press RTH obstacle avoidance is turned off (due to it returning at sport mode speed, I believe). That's why you should set your RTH altitude to avoid any obstacles.

So does it return in sport mode? I'm confused cause someone say that it crash in the obstacle, someone say that it avoid the obstacle if it is less than 100 m of distance

Yes, but do not trust obstacle avoidance.
Spark got an OA detection range of 0,2-5m (16ft).
Maybe it will avoid the light-pole or tree, maybe not.

Be aware over water.
If your Spark is close to you, it will automatically land.
You can still, at any time during RTH, override height by acsending by stick.
Even if landing is initiated.

Isn't Spark's RTH speed set at 10 m/s?
Well, that is why OA is disabled on further range than 100m..

Max speed in Sport-mode is about 14 m/s..

Spark have 3 max speed,
10 KM/h normal with obstacle avoidance on
35 KM/h normal with obstacle avoidance off (RTH mode)
50 KM/h Sports mode (No obstacle avoidance available).
