Ok, brand new Spark pilot here. Only had her up about 4-5 times. Weather here has been bad for several weeks and work has been crazy, so not a lot of opportunities to fly. Charged everything up this morning and noticed that a new firmware was available for the drone and RC, so I did that. I synced the drone/RC, all good! Took it out back to test it before driving to the field. Started drone, started RC, plugged in OTG to RC, then to phone. Dismissed the “not supported”, turned off WiFi & Bluetooth. Set RTH, liftoff... so psyched, I’m finally flying again! The sticks are totally not responding at all. Brought it down, tried again... same thing. Turned off drone, RC, closed app, disconnected OTG. Restarted all. Turned WiFi back on and connected. All good. Reset RTH just to be safe. Take it back up. Same thing. No stick response. I know I must be doing something wrong. What? Please help.

The only sequence that works reliably for my iPhone system is...
Power on remote BEFORE turning on drone. Plug OTG into phone BEFORE plugging into remote. Doesn't seem to matter when you open DJI Go app
