Taking a photo in gesture mode

Hi all, I am having trouble taking a photo in gesture mode, I have done palm launch indoors a few times now and I know how this works, I tried taking a video by raising my are 45 degress, this worked first time and very easy, however, when I make the gesture for a photo no luck and I have tried maybe ten times so far, I put my hand up, the lights turn green, then I can position the drone, but it will not take a photo, I must be doing something wrong any ideas

Hi) the spark makes photos in gesture mode only while “away and follow”. Indoors it’s impossible because it will fly away for 5 meters and crush into the wall(

it took video indoors, but it wont take a photo ?

Only if you away and follow. The room should be huge with veeery high ceiling
