I, was curious if active track would work in the fog and the results were interesting.

It was a super DUPER foggy day in Half Moon Bay so I did it.

Also Love to skateboard and took out my big board.

Anyone else a boarder on this forum?

I have a P3S now, and I'm a kiteboarder, SUP surfer, and ride a longboard quite a bit. Thinking about the Spark for travel and mainly I'd love it to activetrack me while I surf. Seems like it could go either way, and it's a bit worrisome to leave the phone/controller on the beach and hope that it properly triggers a low battery RTH.

Thoughts?

I wish they had an Apple Watch app to follow.

I agree with your trepidation, I wouldn’t leave it unattended for surfing. You really have to have a second pilot for it. Also active track I fine can loose the subject fairly easily.

Yeah, I wish there was a way to tether it to an Apple Watch or something for simple controls, RTH, disengage ActiveTrack, etc.

I know there’s someone on the forum who’s working on an Apple Watch app. Not sure who though.
