Sometimes the locks don't fully engage... I've noticed it a few times myself and now always wiggle the clips to make sure they are secure. And I am guessing a hard landing or crash on them weakens the clips.

If you don't push it well enough to hear the "clicks" yeah but the solution to that is very easy...
If your clips are damaged enough in a crash so that they are weakened do yourself a favor and replace the battery, wouldn't be safe to continue using it even with an extra clip.
The battery contacts have short throw, the flexibility of such a 3D printed part wouldn't do much to safely ensure proper contact.

As others have said, make sure you hear the click and don’t push on the release tabs.. And If you are that worried about it, a couple pieces of duct tape will keep it secure...
