Battery Temp.

Hello,

What do y'all consider normal battery temperature? I have had mine rising over 40°C sometimes. It that a big deal? Or can it take much more than that. I have never had any kind of warning about the battery beeing to hot.

In the summer, I've had them a little hotter than that and had no warnings.

I have had a low temperature warning in the winter once.

I know they are "intelligent" batteries but I like to let them cool down a bit before putting it on the charger right away.

I've had a battery with recorded 55°C when airtemp was 30°C...
No alarm in log or on screen. No consequences on the actual battery.

It is "known" 60°C is the limit where li-po's start being permanently damaged.

I usually don't but just a habit from the past with non intelligent batteries.

I have nine batteries so it's not like I'm in a rush to get them charged ASAP.
