Hello New here I've been flying Drones
I got s one extra range out of my spark by installing aftermarket Antenna poles,
I've noticed some people requiring a HAM license to purchase some sparks and Mavs with upgraded telecom. I am a HAM operator And haven't research this yet.

I have never heard of anyone being required to get a Ham License. Did you hear this from another Ham? A-lot of those guys think you need a license to operate a cell phone. Hell Ive seen them ID themselves while on a phone call..

No...these drones operate on the ISM band which includes things like WiFi channels and BlueTooth - not the Amateur Radio Service bands.

No radio operator license is required by the FCC to fly a Spark or Mavic in the USA. They operate on the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz segments...
