I have started using my spark as my mini 2 is broken and I have noticed the range with WiFi and rc is very limited and I’m wondering if using an OTG cable will boost my range meaningfully (also does otg still work on iOS 18 since the app hasn’t been updated in years)

I haven’t had my Spark up for a while but I can’t think an OTG cable will be anything other than a boost. You realise of course that there is no WiFi involved when you are flying?

Myballshurt, OTG can definitely improve range and stability by bypassing Wi-Fi interference.

However, for iOS 18, it's a toss-up. Since the Spark app is old, newer iOS versions might break compatibility. Best to test it or check if others have had success with iOS 18.

Yes using be OTG (On-The-Go) can be beneficial as it allows you to connect to USB devices like flash drives, keyboards or game controllers directly to your smartphone or tablet, expanding its functionality.
