My Spark handling some wind

It's windy here in Savannah today with northern gust winds of up to 19 mph and my Spark handle it like a trooper.

I have had the spark in 49mph winds and it survived [emoji5]️ I normally take it out in guests up to 30mph. As long as you use sport mode

...so, is the key for windy days to fly the Spark in sports mode? I was flying on normal mode.

I've definitely had my Spark drift away during just reasonable winds. Had to put it in Sport mode and fly it back manually. I was surprised the vision system didn't manage to keep it in position. Posts like all these above give me more encouragement to try though

Lol yeah just keep it about 5 feet off the ground so it won’t blow away.

I took the Spark up that day and there was some drifting and high wind warnings ...and I took it back down right a way : -) Here is a picture of some farmers burning debris and the smoke coming our way.

Edit: not sure what's wrong but I can't insert the picture. I will try uploading it from the laptop.
