Spark RC charging Pixel 2 XL (Android Phone)

Is there a way to turn this off that I did not try? Seems that this causes some heat up on the phone, and also drains the RC battery more no?

I have tried to change the usb mode to mtp, or file transfer only, and while that resets the connection it still goes back to charging the phone. I am not rooted nor want to be either, so hoping there is something I am missing.

I noticed the same heat issue with my Moto G5 Plus the other day with OTG. I couldn't believe how hot my phone got... The heat was actually messing up the screen on my phone. I had to land and shut my phone down.

I flew it again last night and the same thing happened.

What the heck is up with this???

ive since updated ti apple iPad mini 4 so far no probs

you could also become a developer on your pixel and enable usb debugging
there are other option aswell
