Spark use with only Phone (no RC)

I do have the RC and fly with it all the time but i want to try using it when i just want to fly it in close proximity with my Phone.

Q:
Will i be able to use Active Track and tapfly with only the device (no RC)
Whats the easiest procedure to unllink and relink the RC (if i cant use the intelligent flight modes with no RC then the unlink and relink will most likely not needed)

I don't know about intelligent flight modes with just the phone as I don't use them with, or without
