Hello, still a newbie asking dumb questions. I’m up 200 feet and out about 1000. Now I switch to P mode and then select tripod mode. The side to side motion still does not appear to be too smooth or much different than sport mode Any suggestions please

Everything is slowed down compared to PMode so there's really no comparison with SMode!
For a 360 you'll still need to go easy on the sticks.

Hi Jack....Place your thumb against the side of the yaw stick and also on the surface of the controller, and very gently move it in the direction you want to yaw (pan) and apply some down pressure too, so that your thumb does not move too freely.. You need to be super-light on that pressure... sadly there is no alternative*. I have mentioned in other posts that you can improve the results by also moving the bird up or down, forwards or backwards at the same time, try it, you may see an improvement.

There are no dumb questions...;)

* actually there is a way to hack the software to get a better result, you'll find some posts here and elsewhere on how to do that. Not for newbies however.
