IOS 11.4 (15F79) Disconnect issues

Has anyone else noticed the DJI Go App seems to disconnect more since new IOS 11.4 was released. i updated to latest version of IOs 2 weeks ago and when flying this weekend I got 3-4 DJI go app disconnects. What i mean is on the DJI Go app screen in the upper left is goes from connected/GPS to disconnected and in 2 of the cases the screen went blank for a few seconds, other cases screen did not go blank but froze only latest for about 5 sec or so but kind of un-nerving. I was able to get the spark to hover in place till application reconnected so nothing bad happened but really strange. I have been flying same two areas for past year so it would not seem to be an interference issue. Also spark is calibrated and remote full charge and iPhone full charge so as an IT person my thought is something in the new IOS is not yet been updated in the DJI go mobile app.

I've been reluctant to upgrade and have held off...waiting for this type of feedback. I've read other folks say they have had no problems...I'm still going to wait and see for a bit.

Same here... lots of non drone folks are complaining about battery drainage with 11.4
 
I bought an iPad MIni 4 a couple of months ago and did the upgrade. I have not had any issues with the battery usage but with all of the issues with the Go 4 app being reported, I am afraid to fly again until I see another "fixed" version come out. I am very surprised that DJI has not addressed this issue already. I on the other hand realize that each pilot has their own agenda when flying their Spark and that makes me wonder if any real concerns need be considered. But as far as the iOS update to 11.4 I say again that I have not seen any negative effects on my Mini 4. And some of the apps that I have installed would not run without it. I get a lot of disconnects on the app when flying. Could be cause all the WiFi signals around me. When I’m trying to download any original video that is longer then 1:00min to my phone from the drone directly I get a connection error after a little bit of download time. It’s strange. Not sure if it’s just the size of the video or if it’s the app/ drone
