You cannot enter an Orbit Mission without taking off first.
Waypoints, you can take off and start the mission at the same time.
Your menu matches perfectly.

And it is facing 0° (north) at all times flying sideways.
Maybe that is it.
At each waypoint, change the heading slider and line up the nose of the Spark icon with the direction of travel.
Set the proper heading for all 5 waypoints and try again.
Or select AUTO (TNW) in the Hub settings menu
