I just did an IMU cal. My propellers looked good and sturdy. Then I removed them and 2 of the 4 propellers had broken clips that hold them on to the spark. This would have been bad if they had failed during flight. I check props for stress damage but I never remove them. So I guess I will make this a check from now on.

I found one that way too, though it had a chip in it. Better look close at the others.

Nice catch pstik, probably saved you some heartache. I know it sounds tightly wound but I actually pull mine off once every couple of weeks and check the entire prop with a magnifying glass under a good light. ? Just don't want to be over water and have one crap out on me from not checking. ?

I use to check mine as well once a month by removing them and putting a little pressure on the tabs I found that the get hairline cracks that you can’t see until you put just a little pressure. I found this buy removing them one of the tabs stay inside my motor and that was a pain to fish out.
