DJI go app 4.1.18 on Android killed the OTG cable support!?!

I returned to version 4.1.15, what I had not tried is to connect it with wifi, apparently so if it shows the information well.

Does anyone know how reliable the connection is with wifi ?, there are signal losses or some problem to be considered ?.

For me WiFi is a nightmare. Phone always connects to another network mid flight.

Thank you so much. That's solved my issue. Stupid me was trying to install the wrong one. Now I can finally try my Spark with an otg after 2 weeks of having it.

On my previous huawei mate 7 phone it was simply impossible to fly. Giant lag, around 10 sec delay, pixeled screen, terrible.

On my xperia z5 premium it seems better, lag happens less often, still i cant make it to trust it, have heard too much bad feedback

Was hoping that the small patch added to 4.1.18 today was to fix the OTG issue. No such luck unfortunately. Just tried it and the telemetry is still missing.

What bad luck, but what about the battery level already works? If so, maybe we should wait longer to be corrected.

No, unfortunately the battery level hasn't been fixed for OTG either. Looks like this patch was for something completely different.

Hopefully this OTG problem is a temporary glitch that DJI is working on and not some grand conspiracy theory

By the way, I am new to the DJI arena. I just got my Lava Red beauty yesterday, what is the best OTG cable that works with USB C? I have an LG G5 phone. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I was anthering switchgeek's question about what OTG cable is good for Android.

I also had to roll back DJI Go 4 version to 4.1.15, because 4.1.18 was not working on Android with OTG.

I bought this one. Perfect length for the connection, and it appears to work well (well, before they screwed up the app)

Another small patch just applied to 4.1.18 today (29th Nov) following one yesterday. Will this be the one to fix OTG? I'll try it later and report back...
