Shooting Video in Auto? How to use exposure lock, get rid of "roll"

Once you master flying, then next step is better images. The DJI Spark is great in auto, but video can be better if you master exposure lock. Great way to stop exposure "roll".

My exposure lock on the Spark doesn't stay set. I can see the padlock symbol appear for a split second, but it doesn't lock the settings on the second tap. I'll try it with the MA.

I get the idea but can someone tell me if your suppose to lock exposure on a bright subject or dark one?
